A Little About Valerie

As long as I can remember I’ve been creative. My art journey began with the overwhelming joy I felt in art class as a child and has taken me through different career paths over the past two decades.

I am a dedicated self-taught artist who loves to capture the beauty of the natural world around me or the essence of an emotion through paintings both abstract and figurative.

With my love of color, texture and form I explore the creative process by approaching it through curiosity using watercolor and ink, pastel or acrylic.

I currently live and work in Middletown, NY. And I am proud to say my paintings and mosaics happily hang in several private collections in New York, New Jersey, South Carolina, Puerto Rico and California.
